Jacques Bouillard, a celebrated French engraver, born in 1747, was editor of the Collection of the Palais Royal. He engraved classical subjects after Poussin, Caracci and Guido, also after Le Sueur, Mignard and Vanloo. He was a member of the Academy of Painting and Sculpture and died in 1806.
