Carlo Cesio (or Cesius) – Italian painter and engraver; born Antrodoco April 17, 1625/6; died Rieti January 6, 1686. Student of Pietro Berettini da Cortona, worked in Rome under the protection of Cardinal Cybo. Elected head of the Accademia S. Luca in 1675.
